We have worked on both urban and rural custom home projects, so we are familiar with constraints of building in urban areas, and the requirements for well and septic systems on country lots.
Laneway Homes
Laneway homes, as the name suggests, as homes facing the laneway in the rear yard of a home. Laneway homes are built on the same property as the primary home, usually replacing the existing garage that is in the backyard. The lower level remains the garage, which the upper level is a dwelling unit with a full kitchen and bathroom. Coming soon to a Toronto laneway near you.

Inspire Homes designs and builds custom homes. We start by letting you talk: about your needs, your budget, and your custom home ideas. We then create a house plan that is customized to your home and your needs. The cost of a custom will depend on many factors: size, design, finishes and site conditions.
Inspire Homes designs and builds custom homes in Toronto, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Caledon, Erin, and other areas in the Greater Toronto area and Central Ontario. Occasionally we venture outside of these areas, so give us a call even if you're outside of these areas and we will see if we can accommodate your custom home project.
New Home Warranty
Inspire Homes is a Tarion Warranty Corporation registered builder, and has maintained this registration since 2004.
New home builders in Ontario must be registered, and provide a new home warranty. To be registered as a builder, the owner of the business must write a test, which judges the knowledge of the Building Code. As well, the financial stability of the business and of the owner is verified. This ensures the builder is knowledgeable and has the financial capacity to meet its obligations.
Tarion Warranty Corporation mandates minimum warranties on new homes, and protects homeowners if they fail to meet their warranty obligations. The Tarion warranty is a one year comprehensive warranty, a two year warranty on major mechanical elements (such as plumbing, heating, and electrical), and a seven year structural warranty.
