Caledon Basement Renovation

The goal was to finish the basement into a comfortable family space, in style with the upscale finished in the other parts of the house.

Design:  Separate zones: entertainment, gym, childrens play area and adding a two piece bathroom was added

Comfort: Insulated subfloor, spray foam wall insulation, hvac system modifications to improve heating capacity

Finishes: Luxury vinyl flooring gives a functional and durable floor covering.  The builder grade staircase was replaced with an oak staircase, stained to match the flooring colour.

The ceiling is an MDF panel system, with custom carpentry finishes around the staircase and window openings.

Permits: The project included a full building permit package and inspections.
